Friends of the Red Cedar
As part of WRA 331 coursework, I worked on a team to develop a communication strategy for a fictitious nonprofit called Friends of the Red Cedar. This communication strategy was written to target communications with other local and state organizations.
ProcedureThe team first identified what state and local organization to target based on similar interests and goals. Next, we brainstormed communication methods that would be most effective in leading to partnership with or sponsorship from these organizations.

SkillsThis strategy was designed to be used as a reference material for nonprofit communication and follows industry standards. It also allowed the opportunity to study audience and develop strategy based on the collected information.

AudienceThe perceived audience of this document would primarily be the leaders and outreach team at the nonprofit. (In this case, Friends of the Red Cedar.)
