Capital Area Literacy Coalition
The attached grant proposal was drafted during my time as an intern at the Capital Area Literacy Coalition. The grant was submitted to request funds for a partnership program with area elementary schools for an event to promote "March is Reading Month" efforts. The grant includes budget information for the proposed program, request of funds, and an outline of the program and its effect on the community. This particular grant is set to be submitted summer 2016.
ProcedureI followed published standards for grant proposal submissions, which are similar for most funders. Each draft was reviewed by the associate director of the nonprofit and reviewed against submission format requests from each funder's website.
